With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tammy Porter (Frostburg, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Tammy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Tammy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Tammy leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Gregory and Ella Louise Russell; and her son Jason Blaise Gamber Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Kenny J. Porter; her grandsons, Jules Gamber and Jason Gamber Jr.; her cousins, Susie, Patty, Barbie and Eben; and her friend Flowers. She is also survived by her family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to be sent to Mineral County Humane Society.
