He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Sarah "Sally" Parker and Edwina Ann Day (Sluss); his niece Sarah Parker; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Addalyne and Parker McConnell; and his nephews, Scott Day, Chris Day (Jen) and Dick Sluss (Carolyn).
Viewing was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Durst Funeral Home (57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, MD 21532). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Johns Episcopal Church (52 S Broadway, Frostburg, MD 21532).
