He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Koontz and Margaret Koontz; his brother Howard; and his nephew Jeff. He is survived by : his wife Barbara; his daughter Sherri Harkins (James); his granddaughters, Maggie of Fruitland and Canie Harkins of Fruitland; his sister Martha Hill (Doug) of Moundsville; and his nephews, Corey Hill (Mandi) of Moundsville and Kyle Hill of Murrells Inlet.
