It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Grimes Jr. of Fulton, Maryland, who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Franklin Grimes Sr. and Melissa Elizabeth Harbaugh. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Janet (Lucy); his children, Lori Ann Horton and Timothy Edward Grimes of Surprise, AZ; his children-in-law, Mark Taylor Horton and Lesa Scarlett Grimes of Surprise, AZ; and his grandchildren, Matthew Horton (Briana), Jaclyn Elise Horton, Alexandra Nicole Sherline (Adam) of South Riding, VA, Scarlett Jeanette Phares of Phoenix, AZ, Lucie Anlyn Grimes of Phoenix, AZ and Grace Martita Grimes of Buckeye, AZ.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Cedar Lawn Cemetery (17636 W Washington St, Hagerstown, MD 21740).
In lieu of flowers, donations in support of his granddaughter, Jaclyn, to the National Niemann-Pick Disease Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
