We announce the death of Hiro Tupo Huang in Fulton, Maryland, who passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ming-Fu Huang and Yee-Yeh Hu. He is survived by: his wife Joan Huang; his daughters, Sharon Huang (Leo Leung), Leanna Leung and Elena Huang (Lawrence Eugene Leso, Jr.); his grandchildren, Connor and Maggie Leso; and his siblings, Yuki Changchien, Anthony Huang and Yobo Huang.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Inurnment Meadowridge Memorial Park (7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075).
His contributions to his family and community remain, as do the stories his family will continue to tell and the memories of generations of children who knew they were safe in his care.
