With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Bell Knight (Gaithersburg, Maryland), who passed away on February 9, 2026 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Betty departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Betty leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George D Bell and Bessie Bell. She is survived by: her siblings, Ruth and George; her nephews, Robert Wolfrom and Jeffrey Wolfrom; her niece Janice Lamphere; and her stepsons, David and Chris Knight. She is also survived by several great nephews and a niece.
