He was predeceased by: his parents, Tice Nicholas Leonard and Daisy Lee Reid (Leonard); his son Bobby Leonard II; his brothers, Leonard, Edward Leonard, Nicholas Leonard, Calvin Leonard, Donald Leonard, Rabb Leonard and Reid Leonard; Lyndol Leonard Head and Patsy Leonard Woodruff.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Leonard (Becky); his children, Pamela Leonard (Pam), Paige Drake (Dave) and Garrett Leonard (Garry); and his grandchildren, Brooks Wunder (Laura), Jessica Rappoport, Michael Burtnett, Grant Wunder (Hannah), Chase Wunder, Kerry Leonard and Brendan Leonard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the Darnestown Presbyterian Church.
