She was predeceased by: her father Steven Richard Vernon; her sister Kathleen Pazmany; and her mother Irene Brooks. She is survived by: her husband Steven Richard Vernon; her sons, John, Paul Vernon and James (Hana Vernon); her sister Carol Maroglio (Louis); her nephews, Mark and John Maroglio (Laurie); her niece Mary Pazmany; her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Ezrah; Gabe Maroglio.

Should you want to contribute and/or note your respect and friendship for her and the family, as they supported her enduring fight against overwhelming odds, and her service to many others in our community, she asked that donations in her name be made to the American Cancer Society or the Arbor Day Foundation where one can donate money to the organization where a tree will be planted in the memory of Denise Marie Vernon.
