He is survived by : his parents, Linda Kibunja and Peter Kibunja; his sister Amri Rouson; his brother-in-law Jas Rouson; his nephews, Japhya, Jarroq and Jageau; his niece Amri Jae; his aunts and uncles, Lennwood (Ishmenia), Laundra Saunders, Victor (Shirley), Joseph (late Esther), Cyrus Kibunja (Kezziah) and Joyce Kibunja; and his cousins, Lennwood Saunders, Jr., Alani McDonald, Alex, Victoria, Alecia, Gemma, Michelle Kibunja, Eric Gitukui (Luci), Yvonne Mathu (Wambaa), Stephanie Gitukui, Julia, Jacqueline, Melanie and Jake Kibunja.

A memorial service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Norbeck Community Church (2631 Norbeck Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20906).
