He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand W. Dommel and Jane Dommel; his former wife Judy; and his sibling's children, David Michael Dommel and Alison Harrigan.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Juan Gonzalez (Maria Fernanda) and Martha Franco (Carlos); and his sibling's children, Debbie Daymude, Elizabeth Haines (John), Lorraine Dommel, Tommy Dommel (Lauren), Michael Harrigan (Marta), Alejandra Franco and Emma Gonzalez. He is also survived by cousins, many close friends, and his beloved dog.
