It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Rich of Gaithersburg, Maryland, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Appleby Sr. and Marguerite Appleby Sr. Born; and her siblings, William Appleby, Harry Appleby Jr., Marguerite Appleby Jr., Rosemary Burroughs and John Riley Appleby Sr. Florence.
She is survived by: her husband Gary; her children, Paul Rich and Michelle Beachley (Brent Beachley); and her siblings, George Appleby, Charles Appleby Sr. (Maureen) and Thomas Appleby (Sylvia). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (9240 Damascus Rd, Damascus, MD 20872).
