With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold Harwood Scott of Gaithersburg, Maryland, born in Clarinda, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 16, 2024 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by : his parents, Dorthea Wilcox and Harold R. Scott; and his sister-in-law Trudi Scott. He is survived by : his nephew Jamie Scott; his wife Karen Scott; his daughters, Heidi Benham (Christopher), Jocelyn Scott and Jill Peters (Dave); his grandsons, James and Jacob Benham; and his siblings, Carol Jane Scott, Ted Scott and Sam Scott. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Gaithersburg Church of the Nazarene (8921 Warfield Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20882).
