We are sad to announce that on August 15, 2022, at the age of 78, James John Filliben Sr. (Gaithersburg, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Filliben (Cannon) and John Filliben; and his siblings, John, Jr. (Jackie), Vincent, Robert, Edward, Norbert Filliben and Mary Margaret Algeo (Mickey).
He is survived by: his son James Filliben, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Eva; his grandchildren, Max and Emma; his daughter Jeannine Bruin; his son-in-law James; his granddaughter Caitlin; his daughter Andrea Strahan; his son-in-law Jamison; his granddaughters, Sophie and Lily; his daughter Christine Filliben (Stefan Bengtsson); his brother Francis Filliben; and his sister-in-law Joan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their extended families; and many cherished friends.
