He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth Parks (Herald) and John Raymond Parks, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Kitterman; and his sons, Jon Travis Parks (Michelle) of Inverness and James Ethan Parks of Gaithersburg, Maryland.. He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
