He was a leader in the cockpit and a steady hand in my life. I will miss our conversations and his adventurous spirit. Blue skies and soft landings, John. I will never forget the time as a Marine Helicopter Pilot, you flew low over our house in Bethesda, MD and shined the landing lights.”
