She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Vinson and Leona Burdette Vinson; her husband Harold D. T. Dean; and her siblings, Fred Douglas Vinson, Ethel McGaha, Anna Windsor, Nellie Phoebus and Mary Jane Case Atwell. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
