She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fausto Cristóbal ProañoMoreno and Carmen Ricardina "Teresa" Suárez López; her husband Nelson Fernando "Tito" Sánchez; her daughters, Sophia Verenice Parodi Proaño and Andrea Veronica Parodi Proaño; her son-in-law Matthew Salomon; her stepdaughters, Gabriela Sánchez and Cristina Sánchez; her grandson Bruce Santiago Salomon Parodi; her stepgrandchildren, Liam and Elisa; and her siblings, Fausto Ramiro, Francisco Xavier, Oscar Mauricio Proaño, Lourdes Victoria and Amparo. She was also cherished by her godchildren; and the many nieces and nephews she loved.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the DeVol Funeral Home (10 E Deer Park Dr, Gaithersburg, MD 20877). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
