She was predeceased by: her husband Gene F. Hottinger; her parents, John W. Lawson, Sr. and Ethel June Kidd; her son Michael Hottinger; her siblings, John W. Jr., George C. Lawson, Margaret Duvall, Cecil King and Jennie Doody; and her pet Katrina.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald (Jacqueline), Aubrey, Charles (Deneice) and Robert Hottinger; her grandchildren, Brian, Daniel (Sara), Matthew Hottinger, Jason Spriggs, Amanda Grove (Ryan) and Elan Mazziotta; and her niece Missy Yinger.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roy W. Barber Funeral Home (21525 Laytonsville Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20882). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
