It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Matthews of Gaithersburg, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on February 28, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Estherlin Cooper Matthews. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Jonathan (Eubanks), Jenna and Nolan; his daughter-in-law Kathryn (Eubanks); his granddaughters, Peyton (Eubanks) and Kaylee (Marston); his father Joseph Matthews; his sisters, Estherlin Matthews-Thomas of Gaithersburg, MD and Cynde Murphy of Hyattsvillle, MD.; his brother-in-law Keith Murphy; his nieces and nephews, Kelsey Murphy, Candace Thomas, Kerri Murphy, Kory Murphy (Kristin) and Christian Thomas; Natalie (Marston).

COVID protocol will be followed.
