He was predeceased by: his wife Linda May; his parents, Paul May and Anne Costigan May Noland; and his siblings, Patrick, Christopher and Carmel "Candy".

He is survived by: his siblings, Paul (Lexie), Raymond (Peggy), Virginia "Bunny", Kathyleen "Kitty" (Keith), Andrew, Janet and Jill. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
