She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Calvin Bauer and Ruth Namoni Bauer; her son Eric Kimber (Melody); and her husband Kimber Allen Wald. She is survived by: her sons, Jonathan Mark (Susan), Christopher Allen (Tanya) and Jeffrey David (Kina); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Wald, Cheryl Wald, David Jonathan Wald of Christopher, Kimberly Poole, David Robert Wald, Jacob "Jake" Wald and Lucas Wald; and her great grandchild Calvin Wald.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roy W. Barber Funeral Home (21525 Laytonsville Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20882). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Lutheran Curch of the Good Shepherd (4200 Olney Laytonsville Rd, Olney, MD 20832).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shephard in Olney Maryland.
