She is survived by: her husband Xiang-Ming Sun; her children, Haiying Sun, Yan Sun and Jennifer Sun; her grandchildren, Yongrui Lee and Ziyou Sun; and her great grandchildren, Linda Lee and Daniel Lee.

She also lived with Parkinson's disease for more than 20 years and faced many health complications in her later life.
