He is survived by: his wife Alma Luz Elvir Duke of Santa Rosa; his son Gaithersburg; his grandsons, Nathan Dale Robert Duke and Blake Lee Duke; his sister Dorcas Lucile Duke Hindman of Alexandria; and his nibling Dr. Chaney Hindman (Ltc).
