It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth (Carrie) Sparks (Gaithersburg, Maryland), born in Rockville, Maryland, who passed away on April 11, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dick Sparks (Eddie). She is survived by: her children, Paul Sparks (Aggie) of New Market, MD and Mary Sparks of Gaithersburg; her grandchildren, Aaron Sparks (Megan) of Alexandria, VA and Shannon Snowman (Randy) of Thurmont, MD; and her great grandchildren, Dillon Sparks and Naomi Snowman.
The family is requesting that donations can be made in her name to the Frederick Rescue Mission, PO BOX 3389, Frederick, MD 21701.
