“As the days go by i feel lonelier and lonelier. You were my rock, my back bone and my support. I wish things were different that it was me instead of you or that I wasn’t so caught up in my addiction so I wouldn’t have had to be in Rehab when you were in the hospital. I carry a lot of guilt for my actions and the way that I wasn’t there. I’m also devastated I missed your tribute. I tried for 7 hours to get a ride that morning but I was in Baltimore Abd getting a ride to Arlington isn’t easy”

“I reached out that day to a couple of people but you know how that goes. When someone makes a mistake everyone cuts you off. I love you so much dad. I am thankful you got to hear me clean and sober. I know that’s all you ever wanted. I hope you are at peace now dad you are a great man and an amazing dad. I’m sorry it’s taken me 3 years to write this. But i need to heal and this is my first step. Forever daddy’s little girl, Alecia”
