Suad Shammas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Suad Shammas of Gaithersburg, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Issa Shammas; her parents, Joseph Boullata and Barabara Boullata; and her siblings, Issa, André, Jamil, Renée and Kamal.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Annette and Lily. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:20 AM at the Saints Peter & Paul Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church (10620 River Rd, Potomac, MD 20854). A burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906).
