He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel E. Sr. Carroll and Lillian Darrell Carroll; his former wife Elizabeth'Betty'Carroll; and his siblings, Ernest Usilton, Bill Usilton, Lib Davis, Gin Capel and Robert Carroll.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Jeffrey D. Carroll and Maureen E. Ranville (Sean); his grandchildren, Emma and Alex Ranville; and his siblings, Doris Fletcher, Fran Wersten and John Carroll. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and life-long friends.
