We bid farewell to Ardath Prouty of Gambrills, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 19, 2025 at the age of 86. Ardath touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Charles and Lucille Charles (Hale); and her husband Clarke Prouty. She is survived by: her children, Karen Shea (late Sean Shea) of Lexington, NC, Katherine Hillegas of Gambrills, MD, Carol Metzger (Johnny) of Gambrills, MD and Scott Prouty (Anne Hartman) of Toronto, ON.; her grandchildren, Dustin Brians (Sarah Bice), Paige Parker (Brian Parker) and Morgan Hillegas (Clayton Lipscomb III); and her great grandchildren, Clayton Lipscomb IV, Naomi Lipscomb, Zadie Parker, Esme Bice Brians and Booker Bice Brians.
