Gail Matthews Obituary

We bid farewell to Gail Matthews of Gambrills, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 20, 2025 at the age of 80. Gail touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Melroy Ford and Evelyn Ford; and her sister Patricia Miller. She is survived by: her husband Kelly Matthews, Sr.; her children, Kelly Matthews II (Susan) and Jennifer Mish (Kevin); her grandchildren, Kelly Matthews III, Caia Cummings (Collin), Kathleen Bailey (Brent), Charis Matthews, Caitrin Matthews, Abigail Mish, Isabella Mish and Alexander Mish; her great grandchildren, Scout, Robin, Daisy Cummings and James Bailey; and her siblings, Mike Ford and Maureen Wowkanyn. She is also survived by Memaw, not only to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren but also to their friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
