With sadness, we share the passing of Guy Donald Posten of Gambrills, Maryland. Guy, born on September 22, 1933, passed away on September 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy D. Posten and Myrtle Posten; his wife Eleanor Rocko; his daughter Amy; and his siblings, Warren, Lawrence, Raymond and Constance.
He is survived by: his children, Guy David Posten (Diana) and Tracey Posten; his grandchildren, Jon Haberstick, Olivia Brammer, Matthew Brammer, Dillon Posten, Paige Haberstick and Courtney Posten Masters (Christian); and his great grandchildren, Zhi and Liam. He is also survived by many loving relatives, including numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beall Funeral Home (6512 Crain Hwy, Bowie, MD 20715). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church (1800 Seton Dr, Crofton, MD 21114). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at the Resurrection Cemetery (8000 Woodyard Rd, Clinton, MD 20735).
