It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julio Torres-Garcia of Gambrills, Maryland, who passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruperto Arturo Torres Crespo and Gloria Matilde García Tamayo; his wife Maria Elena Lara of Torres; and his siblings, Gloria Matilde Torres García and Arturo Torres García.
He is survived by: his brother Iván Marcelo Torres García; his daughters, Elena Viviana Dumantt (Timothy F. Dumantt), Maria Andrea Arzuaga (Luis Arzuaga) and Julie Elizabeth Ramnarine (Romel Ramnarine); his grandchildren, Julian A. Figueroa, Shaylin G. Arzuaga, Shayna Early, Luis Arzuaga Jr., Aeden J. Arzuaga, Viviana E. Dumantt, Elias R. Ramnarine and Isaiah N. Ramnarine; and his great grandchildren, Eliana A. Caulfield, Joelle J. Early, Paxton P. Early and Marley J. Early. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren, Julio was more than a father and grandfather.
