He is survived by: his brother Raymond Thompson; and his sons, Joseph Thompson (Angeline) and Robert Thompson (Lindsey).
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hardesty Funeral Home - Gambrills (851 Annapolis Rd, Gambrills, MD 21054). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
