She was predeceased by: her father Luis F Lara; and her brothers, Wilson Lara and Hugo Lara. She is survived by: her mother Maria Susana Lara of Lara; her husband Julio Cesar Torres; her daughters, Elena (Timothy Dumantt), Maria (Luis Arzuaga) and Julie (Romel Ramnarine); her grandchildren, Julian Figueroa, Shaylin Arzuaga, Luis Arzuaga Jr., Aeden Arzuaga, Viviana Dumantt and Elias Ramnarine; and her siblings, Gina Villacres, Lucia Molina, Mercy Bolick, Silvia Vera Urbano, Luis Lara and Pedro Lara.
