He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Taylor and Rose E. Myers Taylor; his great grandchild Oakland Carter Taylor; his brother Stanley Taylor, Jr.; his sister-in-law Shirley Taylor; and his brother Frankie Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Hester "Ann" Tubbs Taylor of Girdletree; his children, George P. Taylor, Jr. (Dixie) of Crisfield, Natalie Taylor Diggs (C. J.) of Pocomoke, Christina L. Taylor of Snow Hill and Shawn Davis of Arkansas; his grandchildren, Sean Phillip Sutton, Jonathon Taylor, Gabriella Taylor, Natalie Renee Parks, Christopher Diggs, Jr., Kaylynn Taylor, Bambi Taylor, Noelle Marshall, Nicolaus Marshall, Annalise Marshall, Austin Marshall, Susanna Allen, Elaina Allen, Gabriel Davis, Shonna Davis of Logan Davis, C. J and Madison Davis; his great grandchildren, Naomi Sutton, Noa Sutton, Jonathon Taylor, Jr. and Gracelyn Diggs; and his siblings, Jackie E. Taylor (Julia) of Princess Anne, Rose Taylor McCartan (Lee) of Corapolis, PA and Nancy L. Lewis (Terry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Somerset Memorial Veterans Cemetery (27002 Cash Corner Rd, Crisfield, MD 21817).
