She was predeceased by: her parents, George Durm, Sr. and Elva Sweeney Durm; her husband Lawrence Gadd (Larry); her grandson Joseph Rehmert (Joey); her son-in-law Graig Smith Sr.; her brother-in-law Robert "Bob" Vacek; and her sisters, Janet Willis and Terry Durm.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Brenda; her daughters, Penny Hawks (Lex Hawks) of Glen Burnie, Nancy Rehmert of Glen Burnie and Brenda Smith of Glen Burnie; and her siblings, George Durm, Jr. (Eve Durm) of Glen Burnie and Margaret "Peggy" Vacek of Pasadena. She is also survived by grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and countless children.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Kirkley Ruddick Funeral Home (421 Crain Hwy S, Glen Burnie, MD 21061).
