He is survived by: his wife Patricia Whye-Samuel; his children, Cierra Carter (Vernon), Raynique Colclough (Earl), Raymond Lewis Samuel and Sharnae Wallace; his siblings, Charles E. Samuel and Denise Townes; his siblings' children, Charles Smith, Domenika Ringgold and Rayshetta Brown (Myron); his aunt Betty Lou Wiggins; and his mother-in-law Roberta Croswell. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.
