He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Maxton and Margie Maxton. He is survived by: his children, Demries Maxton, Jr., Dorothy McClain, Deborah McClain, Karen Maxton and Lisa Jackson; and his close friend Elijah Lewis of Brooklyn, NY.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of many dear nieces, nephews, and friends.
