As we bid Daniel farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Daniel is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Haines and Lillian Blum; his wife Janice Haines; and his brother Thomas. He is survived by: his sister Judy Venuto; his children, Heather Donophan, Daniel Haines Jr., Kathy Howton and Hilary Cowley; and his stepchildren, Chip Taylor and Jen Taylor. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greensboro Cemetery (311 N Main St, Greensboro, MD 21639).
