He was predeceased by: his parents, Blayne "Doc" E. Shunk and Helena "Grace" Shunk (Otto); and his sister Kathy Schaffer. He is survived by: his daughters, Alice Meyer (Kyle) of Wesley Chapel and Angela Shunk (Stacey) of Savannah, Georgia.; his grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, Hailee, Ty, Braxton, ZaKai, Venezia, Ezmien and Zayden; and his brothers, Richard Shunk (Mary) and Edward Shunk (Lois). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Trinity United Church of Christ (1055 Twin Churches Rd, Grantsville, MD 21536).
