He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Downton and JoAnn Bender (Barnett); and his siblings, Bob Downton and Beth Swauger. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Downton (Marx); his daughters, Amanda Smith (Todd) and Emily Walls (Cameron); his granddaughters, Kylie Miller (Logan), McKenna Cady, Delaney Smith, Addison Walls and Paige Walls; and his brother Bill Downton.
