It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rhoda Summy of Grantsville, Maryland, who passed away on August 10, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete E. Yoder and Effie Yoder; her husband Harvey E. Summy; her daughter Mary Yoder; and her son-in-law Mark N. Yoder.
She is survived by: her children, Petie (Miriam Yoder), Bennie (Amanda Yoder), Simon, Edwin (Rachel Yoder), Sadie (late Mark Yoder), Nancy (Henry Mast) and Effie (Rudy Mast); her son-in-law Menno Yoder (Aamnda Summy); her siblings, Edwin Yoder, Nancy Yoder, Sarah Beachy, Mary Yoder and Barbara Brenneman; and her stepmother Amanda Summy. She is also survived by 38 grandchildren.
