He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Wittig; his sons, Callum and Gerald Jr. of Greenbelt; his sisters, Jackie Holohan (John) and Joan Kinze; and his sister-in-law Cathy Wittig-Donald. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
