He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Davidson and Hazel (Nagel); and his wife Alice. He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Meredith (Michael), Lorri Kirwan, Hazel Burt (Jim) and Roxanne Brooks (Benny); his grandchildren, Heather Meredith (Eric), Branden Meredith (Heather) and Sarah Hall (Christopher); his great grandchildren, Devin, Chloe Lord, Taylor, Jacob, Gregory, Sophia Meredith, Ryleigh and Caleb Hall; and his caregiver Diana Patchett.
