She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Lee Dennis Sr.; her parents, Ralph Dean and Caroline Thorpe Dean; and her brothers, Robert Dean and Marion Dean.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Lee Dennis Jr. and Sharen Kay Dennis of Greensboro, MD.; her grandsons, Travis Lee Dennis and Casey Lee Dennis; Virginia Monath Bodmer of Greensboro.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Ruth's memory be made to the Greensboro Cemetery Association, to support the cleaning and upkeep of Department of Veterans Affairs grave markers.
