It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Etta Knotts (Greensboro, Maryland), born in Centreville, Maryland, who passed away on July 20, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Frederick Walls and A. Jane Walls; her husband Clarence Knotts; and her siblings, Calvin, Paul, Orville, William, Robert, Lawrence and Florence.
She is survived by: her daughter Margaret Florence Ann Smith (Mike Welch) of Harrington; her granddaughters, Melissa L. Flynn Carter (Larry) of Seaford and Linsey L. Brown-Ingram (Wayne) of Milford; and her great grandchildren, Jesse Little (Alex), Trevor Brown, Bryce Brown and Haley Ingram. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
