He was predeceased by: his father Carman Whewell; and his brother Brian Whewell. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Mickley-Whewell; his son Thomas Patrick-Galen Whewell; his stepchildren, Jessica and Joshua Martin; and his siblings, Patrick Whewell, Mark Whewell, Rick Whewell and Kathy Whewell-Freed.
