He was predeceased by: his parents, David F. Jones, Sr. and Louise Jones (Boward); his wife Norma Jean Jones (Pearce); his siblings, Patricia Snodderly, Constance Grimsley and William C. Jones; and his close friend Shirley Plotner.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory L. Jones (Kimberly) of Hagerstown, Carol A. Litten (Donald) of Hagerstown, Michael A. Jones (Debra) of Hagerstown, Paula P. Lapole (Christopher) of Hagerstown and Jeffrey L. Jones (Suzanne) of Shepherdstown, WV; his brother David F. Jones, Jr. of Hagerstown; and his cousin Dr. Ronald Keyser. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
