She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Benton and Ella Elizabeth Fahrney (Newcomer); her husband William W. Hamsher; and her son-in-law Gary Wetzel. She is survived by: her daughters, Joan M. Wetzel of Hagerstown and Sue E. Hoover (John T. Jr) of Hagerstown; her grandchildren, Angela C. Wetzel Garrett (Jeffrey Heflin) of Whitefish, MT, Hoover, III (Jenifer) of Jackson, WY and Andrew R. Hoover (Miranda) of Jackson, WY; and her great grandchildren, Skyler Garrett, Langley, Larson, Arlen and Adley Hoover. She is also survived by 39 nieces and nephews.
