He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Arthur Maynard Bacon Jr. and Margaret Kerin Bacon; and his brother Greg. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Dr. Allan T. Bacon III (Beth) of Maui, Hawaii, Dr. Jessica Bacon-Owen (Tim Owen) of Sykesville, MD and Dr. Brenna Bacon Ranieli (Matthew Ranieli) of Hagerstown, MD; his grandchildren, Sadie, Emelyn Owen and Rex Ranieli; and his brothers, Maynard Bacon (Jane) of Lancaster, PA and Bruce Bacon of Hagerstown, MD..
