Barbara Jane Shillingberg Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on August 5, 2022, at the age of 86, Barbara Jane Shillingberg of Hagerstown, Maryland, born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Paul Forbes and Grace Evelyn Forbes (Brookens); her husband John David Shillingberg, Sr.; and her brother Samuel Forbes. She is survived by: her children, John Shillingberg, Jr. (Yun), Dama Ward (Randy) and Susan Hoffman (Kevin); her grandchildren, Dustin Shillingberg (Brandie Socks), Amber Boggs (Seth), Donavan Shillingberg-Smith (Jenna) and Natalie Hoffman; her great grandchild Savannah Mae Boggs; and her sisters, Dolores Snyder, Vonny Hartman, Sharon Forbes and Joan Durr (John). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, Doey's House, 1710 Underpass Way Suite 300, Hagerstown, MD 21740, for taking great care of Barbara / Mom.
